2. Local data processing
The app processes user-selected local folders and files, including paths, names, sizes, timestamps, attributes and optional SHA-256 hashes. Contents are read locally only to copy or verify. Local configuration stores detected OneDrive labels/root paths, managed-folder records, settings, local counts and operation journals. Logs may contain paths, counts, stages and errors; they are designed not to contain file contents, passwords, Microsoft credentials or authentication tokens.
3. No app login or developer cloud
{{PRODUCT_NAME}} does not use Microsoft Graph, App Registration, MSAL, OAuth or Microsoft sign-in. It does not operate a developer cloud-sync service and does not send selected files to {{LEGAL_ENTITY}}. The OneDrive desktop client may independently synchronize the local destination under Microsoft’s terms.
4. Licensing
Production packaged builds may receive license/add-on status and purchase results from Windows Store APIs. Microsoft Store handles account, acquisition and payment. Private test packages may contain a visibly labeled local test state; it is not a Store entitlement.
5. Impact
ODF CloudSync Impact uses only local protected-folder, file, byte and error records. It does not measure network transfer, remote objects, cloud upload, energy, carbon or environmental savings.
6. Analytics and advertising
Version 0.3.1 contains no developer-operated telemetry, behavioral analytics or advertising SDK and does not sell personal information through the app.
7. Support and retention
If you contact support, we process only what you choose to provide. Redact paths and do not send credentials or confidential contents. Keep configuration/journals until folders are safely recovered/restored.
8. Security and rights
The app uses local validation, copy, verification, journaling, rollback and restore. Maintain independent backups. Insert jurisdiction-specific rights before publication.
9. Changes
Material changes will be posted at {{BASE_URL}}/privacy-policy.html with a new effective date.
